Leaps of Faith

There is a story of a contest of building the best manger for Christmas but should be done made from scratch. 

Building the best stable, where Jesus was born, a stable for farm animals 

And so each contestant came up with their own unique ideas, some used wood others cardboards, some placed real hay and animals and they were all beautiful. 

But one contestant came up with a very unique idea  

He built an unfinished house and then he scattered garbage all over it and placed a sign at the door.. When Jesus comes in your hearts, in your house, will He see the same clutter and garbage that are in this room? 

He won the contest. 

As we prepare for Christmas, for our savior, this advent. Are we ready and disposed to receive Jesus or will Jesus see so much clutter in our hearts, in our lives. 

Repent! 

Have a change of heart, of mindset attuned with the ways of our lord 

Strive for peace. Say I am sorry and also use the words I forgive 

Learn to be humble 

And believe that God is Good and God is Gracious
