Leaps of Faith

In 1925, The world was in chaos, experiencing so much sufferings, conflicts and sorrows. There was so much secularism, materialism and the people were looking for the right leader and king. Pope Pius XI instituted the The feast of Christ the King, exhorting everyone to learn to make Jesus as the King of their hearts, of their lives, of their family, of the country and of the whole world.

I remember growing up with my parents, we had an altar in our living room where my mom would ask us to join her in prayer often, whether we like it or not, even if we are tired, even if my dad would be snoring at the side, we come together to pray.

I realize now, these was how my mom reminded and taught us, how Jesus is the King of our family and of our lives.

Today this is the invitation for all of us. We may have mny other important things in our lives. We may have our jobs, our family and many responsibilities as the center of our lives, we are still invited Make Jesus the number one, the center of your heart and life and the rest will be place in its proper place and an order will be ensured with all other things.
